Data: The Foundation of AI

AI inherits the quality, bias and gaps of the data it is given. Most failed AI programmes are failed data programmes wearing better clothing.

The Board does not need to review data architecture. It does need to know whether the organisation can answer four questions: where did this data come from, who owns it, is it accurate, and do we have the right to use it this way?
